Wilfredo Bonilla, Jr.
Wilfredo is the Founder/President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Hampton Roads-VA, Inc. and a Partner with the firm and Chairman of the Government Contracting Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Litigation, Government and Public Sector, and Cyber and Data Security Practice Groups. He received his B.A and his J.D. from Rutgers University.
His litigation experience focuses on complex state and federal litigation, mediation, arbitration, and appeals. His Government and Public Sector practice focuses on government contracts, bid protests, public procurement, public services, and the Virginia Freedom of Information Act. As a former Assistant City Attorney in Hampton Roads with 10 years of experience, he regularly advised and engaged with City Council, the City Manager, and department directors regarding legal matters. He is able to leverage that experience for the benefit of his clients. Wilfredo's Cybersecurity and Data Privacy practice focuses on assisting clients in navigating the rapidly evolving landscape of data privacy laws and mitigating cybersecurity risks.
