First Baptist Church of Franklin’s 155th Anniversary Parade

On November 21, 2021, Darius Davenport, Western Tidewater Advisory Chair for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and Dr. Ruth Jones-Nichols, Chief Movement Officer at Feeding America, and Cliff Hedgspeth, Western Tidewater Branch Manager, participated in First Baptist Church Franklin’s 155th Anniversary Parade as a way to say thank you for supporting the Foodbank’s efforts in Western Tidewater.  First Baptist Church Franklin’s partnership with the Foodbank was instrumental in the development of the new Western Tidewater distribution site.  The Foodbank hopes to continue the tradition of transforming the community through faith, freedom and hope at the new location.
