2019 Legal Food Frenzy
Raises 7,358 Meals
The firm is proud of its attorneys and staff for their efforts during the two-week challenge in support of the 2019 Legal Food Frenzy. The friendly competition resulted in raising funds to purchase 7,358 meals for those in need throughout the Hampton Roads Region.

CWM Receives 1st Place Award for 2018
Crenshaw, Ware & Martin is proud to have been recognized for its participation in this year's Legal Food Frenzy. The efforts of our attorneys and staff raised 492 pounds of food per person earning us first place for medium size firms in the 26th Annual NPBA Local “Legal Food Frenzy" competition. This year 145 law firms, legal departments, government offices, and law schools across Virginia raised almost 1.5 million pounds of food for Virginia's hungry during the annual statewide Legal Food Frenzy.
2017 Legal Food Frenzy
Friendly competition supports local foodbank
On Wednesday, April 19, 2017, a few of the firm’s attorneys loaded up their cars with the food donated by the attorneys and staff as part of the 2017 Legal Food Frenzy. The firm divided up into three teams which created a fun, competitive environment in which to raise food and monetary donations to benefit the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore.

CWM Receives Award for 2016 Competition
On Thursday, February 9, 2017, the attorneys and staff of CWM joined together as Debbie Hansley, with the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern shore, presented the firm with an award for placing third among medium size law firms in Hampton Roads for having raised 13,813 pounds of food during the 2016 Legal Food frenzy. The 2016 event marked the 25th anniversary of the local fundraiser which was established by the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association to provide an opportunity for the legal community to give back to those in need. In 2006 the Legal Food Frenzy expanded to a statewide effort to fight hunger and has raised more than 14.2 million pounds of food and groceries benefiting foodbanks throughout Virginia.

CWM Exceeds Fundraising Goal
During the month of April, the attorneys and staff of CWM participated in the 25th Annual Legal Food Frenzy benefiting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. The Legal Food Frenzy brings the local legal community together to provide the Foodbank with much-needed food and funds to serve children, families and seniors in our area who struggle with hunger. We exceeded our goal for 2016 by raising 13,813.75 pounds of food.
Holiday Toy Drive
2015 Holiday Toy Drive for Local Community Center.
Each year during the holiday season, the attorneys and staff gather together to decorate our tree. Part of our annual tradition is buying toys for local children in need. This year we selected the Berkley Community Center in Norfolk. We hope the toys will bring a smile to these very special children this holiday season.

2015 Legal Food Frenzy
The attorneys and staff of CWM participated in the 24th Annual Legal Food Frenzy benefiting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. We are proud to announce that we placed third in the mid-size firm category having raised 477 pounds of food per employee, or 12,402 total pounds.
16 Bags of Clothes
Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association's Harvest for the Homeless.
The attorneys and staff participated in this year's Harvest for the Homeless by donating over sixteen bags of clothes which will be delivered to the Samaritan House.
139 Winter Coats
2014 Winter Coat Drive.
Ryan Snow, the firm's managing partner, spearheaded the 2014 Winter Coat Drive for the I'Anson-Hoffman American Inn of Court. A total of 139 coats were donated with an entire box by the firm's attorneys and staff. The coats were delivered to United Way and ForKids.
ForKids Toy Drive
2014 ForKids Holiday Toy Drive.
Each year the attorneys and staff at CWM select a holiday project that allows us give back to those in need during the holiday season. This year toys were donated to ForKids Holiday Toy Drive.

The attorneys and staff of CWM participated in the 23rd Annual Legal Food Frenzy benefiting the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. This year the firm raised over 13,000 pounds of food and was awarded 2nd Place for medium size firms for having raised 513 pounds per employee.
