CWM Attorneys Serve as Guest Judges for the Annual William Spong Moot Court Tournament
Ryan Snow and Butch Bracknell served as guest judges on February 17 for the annual William Spong Moot Court Tournament at Marshall-Wythe School of Law at William & Mary.
Ryan and Butch each judged on 4 panels, grading the appellate arguments of 32 students from 8 law schools from throughout the nation. The two legal issues briefed and argued by the students involved a Fourth Amendment challenge to use of incriminating video unintentionally recorded by a defendant’s on board camera in his car, and a statutory interpretation issue regarding criminal procedure under the Federal Magistrates Act.
